However we have had a lovely day, no Church in this little spot, so washed the bedding and thanked The Lord for sun and wind to give us beautiful fresh lined.
There was a market at the local park - 8 stalls, all so friendly. I came home with a hand towel to hang at the sink, Coconut Energy Bits (18 for $3!) a jar of home grown home made Compote (Pawpaw, Passionfruit, ginger and lime ($3.50), book (.50) a bag of cherry tomatoes ($1), 4 Passionfruit ($1) how is that for Market prices?
The park put on a sausage sizzle for lunch, ($2) sausage & onion in bread, just about the whole park were there and it was followed by one of the campers singing with his yukulele (don't come especially to hear him) but is was very nice.
We went for a short drive to a 'Resort' that the Japanese had built with the expectation that Japanese would come and even use Japanese currency- well the Government wouldn't have a bar of that and someone bought it for 10 million. However it went bust and then there were cyclones and now Chinese have bought it and are just starting to get it up going again. They are starting with the golf course. It had a Marina which looks so sad. As its 100k north of Mackay it seems a strange place to invest so much money. There is nothing here!
I had my first card sale today, a lady came to see what I was doing and she bought 2 cards.
Made a carrot cake in the glass oven, success, then made a cottage pie in the glass oven for dinner tonight - it's a favourite.
TV is hopeless tonight, Brian won at Yahtzee! Bed early and a fight with the MIDGES.
