We are allowed to wash our caravan and car as were are on a grass sight. Well, I suppose it was necessary due to red dust and dirt, no paved roads, the odd shower and birds!
Result, like new vehicles, sparking in the sun. It took all day..... Well, we didn't wake up till 9 & had to have breakfast out in the sun before hard labour. I even 'detailed' the car, what a difference compared to 'drive through washes'.
The reward for work well done was a drive to the waterfront where Brian was able to go for a decent walk while I watched kids having a ball in the activities area. It's a wonderful setup for all sorts of sport especially for kids.
Called into 'Cairns Central Shopping Centre ' mistake, should have gone to the local IGA. THOUSANDS THERE! Only wanted bread and tomatoes and 'Stop Itch' yes biting things have found me.
A big beautiful city. Golly I can't really remember it from 53 years ago ..... Why should I ?
