We had a couple of things to pick up in town, drove to the original sight of the Town, called Pelican Waterhole and to Willie Mar Chinese Market Garden Heritage Site- this was very interesting, what a worker Father and Son were. At night I went to the comedy show again, they did a completely different show and I sat with Bruce & Dianne Ford then they came back to our van for coffee. It is nice meeting up with folk you know, but then we didn't really know them, we go to the same Church but hadn't really spent time with them so the was a great opportunity.

30 June Winton
We set off in the morning for the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, 25k out of town, 15 of them was on dirt road and the last 5 of that was up on top of 'Jump Up' a winding steep climb - leave your caravans at the bottom as instructed. A lovely building that housed the Museum, gift shop, cafe, and booking office. The museum, laboratory and discovery walk was only $30ea. We decided we were the dinosaurs and not really interested enough to spend that much. There was a great view of the area from the centre over the lands where dinosaurs walked 95 million years ago!!!!
